The cottage is located in the village of Talsarnau in the southern part of Snowdonia. It provides an ideal base for exploring this beautiful, interesting area. Quieter than the northern part, with the wild beauty of the Rhinog mountain range close by, with wild goats, hares and buzzards. There is a railway stop in the village providing the opportunity for a car free day exploring the Cambrian coastline visiting Barmouth, Pwllheli etc.
The Italian style village of Portmeirion is just 3 miles from the cottage.
